Christopher Nolan
Christopher Edward Nolan (nascido em 30 de julho de 1970) é um diretor, roteirista e produtor de cinema anglo-americano. Ele nasceu em Londres, Inglaterra e possui cidadania americana devido à sua mãe. Ele é conhecido por escrever e dirigir filmes aclamados pela crítica como Amnésia (2000), O Grande Truque(2006), a trilogia Cavaleiro das Trevas (2005-12), A Origem (2010), Interestelar (2014) e Dunkirk (2017). Nolan é o fundador da produtora Syncopy Films. Ele frequentemente colabora com sua esposa, a produtora Emma Thomas, e seu irmão, o roteirista Jonathan Nolan.
No Oscar 2024, ele foi indicado ao Oscar de Melhor Diretor pela segunda vez em sua carreira com Oppenheimer (sendo a primeira com Dunkirk, no Oscar 2018). Oppenheimer foi indicado em outras 12 categorias além de melhor direção, incluindo: Melhor filme, melhor roteiro adaptado, melhor ator, melhor ator coadjuvante e melhor atriz coadjuvante.
